What's involved

A perfect fit, done right

We size rings up or down in gold, platinum, and most other metals. The band keeps its shape, and we check that every stone is still secure before you pick it up.

Not sure of your size? Stop in and we’ll measure you, then talk through the options before any work begins.

Straightforward pricing

Starting prices

10k/14k Ring sizingfrom $58.00

Making your gold ring smaller or larger. Price depends on how many sizes and whether we're adding gold to size up.

18k Ring Sizingfrom $77.00

Sizing for 18k gold - a softer, richer alloy that takes extra care and more gold when sizing up.

10k/14k Class Ring Sizingfrom $182.00

Class rings are thick and often have stones and enamel near the band, so sizing takes more metal and more time.

Starting prices - the exact quote depends on your piece. Bring it by for a free estimate, no obligation.

What affects the price?

Metal is the biggest factor. Silver sizing costs the least, gold runs by karat, and platinum takes special tools and higher heat. Going up in size costs more than going down because we add metal to your ring, and bands with stones or engraving take extra care so nothing shifts while we work.

Common questions

Ring resizing questions

Can any jeweler resize a ring?

Most jewelers can, but not all do the work themselves. Many shops mail your ring out to a third-party bench, which is why turnaround can stretch to a week or more. We size rings on-site at our Oklahoma City bench, so your ring never leaves the building and most jobs are finished the same day.

Can a ring be made bigger as well as smaller?

Yes, both. Sizing down means removing a small section of the band and rejoining it. Sizing up means adding metal, which is why going up usually costs a little more. Most rings can move two sizes in either direction comfortably; beyond that we will talk you through what is realistic for your particular band.

Can you resize a diamond or gemstone ring?

Yes. Stones need extra care because heat and pressure can loosen settings, so we check and tighten every stone as part of the job. Eternity bands set all the way around are the one common exception. Those often cannot be sized and may need a different approach, which we will explain before starting.

Which metals can you resize?

Gold in any karat, sterling silver, and platinum. Silver is the least expensive to size, gold is priced by karat, and platinum costs more because it takes specialized tools and much higher heat. Titanium, tungsten, and some alternative metals cannot be sized at all. Those have to be replaced rather than resized.

How long does ring resizing take?

Most resizes are finished the same day you bring the ring in. Come by during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:30 to 5:30, and we will text you the moment it is ready.

How much does ring resizing cost?

Starting prices are listed on this page and update automatically from our store system. Metal is the biggest factor, sizing up costs more than sizing down because we add metal to the band, and rings with stones or engraving take extra care. Every job starts with a free estimate, so you will know the exact price before any work begins.
