All repairs

What’s involved

Strong, secure, ready to wear

We repair links, replace clasps and safety catches, and re-solder weak points. Tennis and gemstone bracelets get extra attention, since one weak setting can cost you a stone.

If a clasp has ever popped open on its own, let us check it before you lose the whole piece.

What affects the price?

Style drives the price. A simple link solder is quick, while hinges, tubes, and safety catches are small mechanisms that take bench time to fit and align just right. As with all repairs, gold work runs above sterling silver.

Common questions

Bracelet repair questions

Can a jewelry store repair a broken clasp on a bracelet?

Yes, and it is one of the most common repairs we do. A worn clasp can usually be repaired, and where it is beyond saving we can fit a replacement, including easier-to-fasten magnetic and lobster clasps if the original is difficult to manage one-handed. Most are finished the same day.

How much does bracelet repair cost?

Starting prices are listed on this page and update automatically from our store system. The final price depends on the metal, the type of clasp, and whether links also need work. Estimates are free, so you will know the price before anything begins.

What kinds of bracelets can you repair?

Gold, sterling silver, and platinum bracelets in most styles, including chain, link, bangle, and tennis bracelets. We can also resize a bracelet by adding or removing links so it sits properly on your wrist.

Can you repair a tennis bracelet with a missing stone?

Yes. We can replace missing stones and check the security of the settings along the whole length while it is at the bench, which is worth doing. On a tennis bracelet, one loose setting is often a sign the others are wearing too.
